SFCC B2B Developer / Salesforce



We are looking for a Technical Lead who will be using your digital expertise and commerce knowledge to Lead/support client teams and help them achieve their digital priorities. You'll help clients define their eCommerce requirements by leading and facilitating working sessions to gain an understanding of the client's current state processes and technology in the eCommerce space as well as supporting the implementation that follows.


Responsibilities and duties

  • Lead large-scale eCommerce implementations, utilizing Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2B(Classic/Lightening), providing both oversight and hands on contributions to the software design,development, and integration.
  • Lead project discovery workshops, both on-site and(or) remotely.
  • Needs to provide advice and expertise, and to (possibly) lead projects.
  • Communicate platform capabilities and limitations to clients and help with roadmap planning.
  • Identify client process pain points, analyze, and recommend solutions. Drive projects from discovery through deployment.
  • Independently lead the estimation effort for a project.
  • Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architectures.
  • Design, develop and maintain application architectures that support client’s business requirements.
  • Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Assist Project Leadership conduct project risk identification and mitigation planning.
  • Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits, assisting with RFP responses, architecture assessments and technical qualifications.


Qualifications and skills

  • Ability to convey and convince customers of best practices at various levels within a large organization.
  • Application design and development background.
  • Strong Enterprise Architecture background would be favorable.
  • Relevant Salesforce experience is desired (e.g. B2B Commerce, Lightning, Marketing Cloud,Service Cloud).
  • 3-5+ years experience delivering e-commerce solutions in a Lead Developer type role.
  • Familiarity with e commerce supporting technologies and platforms (i.e. CMS, DAM, PIM, ERP, payment gateways, tax providers, shipping providers).
  • Relevant knowledge for continuous integration/delivery, version control tools and processes, performance evaluation/diagnostics, log analysis.
  • Experience with the following technologies/frameworks: Java, APEX, Backbone JS, Bootstrap,Handlebars, jQuery.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (preferred).
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required).
  • B2B Commerce Administrator Accredited Professional (required).
